A&Q about 350Z
Q:
damn, check this out. i really like what they've done to this car.
A:
That is a nice car! It is late and i am tired.... But did the add say $5000?!?
And the car has 500 miles on it. I'm probably misreading something.
The thing with the procharger centrifugal supercharger is that make sure he
has upgraded the basic kit with a timing retard system and a fuel return
system. Which the standard kit did not include. He probably upgraded all
that and more, but make sure he did for engine safety. Procharger kits came
out real early but they did not even have a timing retard system which later
kits like Vortech and HKS do have. If he upgraded the kit right, this will be a
very very nice car.
Centrifugal superchargers like procharger do not put out the big power and
torque at low to mid rpms like good twin turbos. They put out the big power
at the top of the rpm band just before redline - which some people like better.
But it would still be plenty fast in any case. Sure is pretty....

Yeah, I know what you are saying. I am leaving my 350Z pure stock in looks
(except maybe wheels) and I also like the sleeper aspect, he he. The other
cars are not going to be expecting the big power with pure stock looks. You
would not believe how that shocked people with my old mitsu eclipse awd
HKS turbo. Back in the early 90s anyway. But having said all that, that kit on
the 350Z in the add doesn't look too bad, IMO., At least it does not have a
rear spoiler big enough to lift a 747 off the ground if you changed the angle of
attack, ha.

Not my taste at all. Too flashy and dressed up for the Z.
But then again I don't like flashy and dressed up. I like sleek, sexy, long angles.
Good color though...love the color.
Interior is horrendous. What a waste. They tried to do way too much with the inside...it lacks vision.

seemed weird to begin with, but i still think it's a sweet Z. interior is iffy, but i think it would grow on me.
A:
nasty interior, that's just wayy too dang much... i was like ehh.. when i first saw it then on a second look i say the dash... yuk!
the kit is decent... but IMO the lower front corners need to be shaved to fit the roundness of the car... other than that... i could live with the rest... of the exterior...

They've made quite an effort, but I don't like cars that are overdone (the interior although swish (doesn't mean I would do it) iis also extremely tacky, and looks ridicious with the stock steering wheel.
Not to mention the steering wheel is on the wrong side of the car!
I pity anyone that is seen in it.... it's embarrasing, if you were in Australia, someone would prolley throw rocks at you.

A:
i hate when they put the steering wheel on the wrong side. you'd think they'd catch something like that before it left the factory.
A:
i guess it depends what side of the continent you're on... i hear that steering wheels on the left side of the Atlantic are generally magnatised to the left side... and on the other side of the ocean.... they are somehow magnetically attracted to the right side of the car...dunno why???
but it definately needs a chain link steering wheel... that would just completely top it off!!!

i visit the states yearly, it is very odd experience to drive a car abroad to change gears with your right hand not your left, don't know if any of you have driven oseas. I prefer changing with my left as you have more control with your right hand on the wheel, but I guess it's what your use to.
