ha! not at all, justinrhenry - I'm thinking about trying to make this one .. but Talladega is a ways away for me. I'd love to hit up some high-perf driver training classes a little closer to home this year.
This was posted in 90-96 tech - just didnt want any of you locals guys with the urge for some sport driving to miss out. All are welcome, and I didnt mean any offense.

I wonder if they offer instructors!! It'd do me no good to make idiot mistakes on my own without someone there to tell me what I should and should not do.

There will be professional drivers there as instructors. Each driver will have an instructor IN THE CAR for at least the first two sessions. After that it will be up to the instructor to release you for open, no instruction, sessions. If the instructor still feels that you need additional assistance, then you will be allowed to run the open sessions with the instructor still in the car. If you feel that you still need additional instruction, you only need to ask and they will continue with you.
Let me tell you guys - my club is trying to arrange something similar to this and we are looking at $250+ per person.. so this GZC deal is pretty sweet. And JT240Z is a solid Z'er with lots of track experience. He would be glad to assist you guys in anyway.

it seems that there aren't alot of activities in the DFW area... unless there is just no one reporting them...
