A&Q about 350Z
Q:
i don't believe so either, at least with the problem free portion... it sould be just fine to run all 4 speaker with that one amp... not to mention it will even give you a little bit more flexibility in tuning your system for say if you wanted to fade the music to the rear for a more "surrounded" feel to the music...
From a manual i had about a year back the best way to tune your amp to your HU is to:
1) have everything hooked up properly in the first place, without that you're screwed anyways.
2) turn down the amp's power all the way to all channels (FR,FL,RR,RL)
3) Turn your HU volume to MAX
4) Adjust your amps power until you begin hearing distortion or crackeling with your speakers RMS at 90W, their max is probably around 150W or something, so you might not even hear it at MAX RMS for your amp.
5) if you hear crackeling or distortion back down the power until you hear no distortion at all.
with this simple instruction you should be able torun it up all the way with no fear of blowing your speakers and you will always have a good clean sound. Also I'm not positivly sure but i don't think it is a good idea to run an amp At MAX ALL THE TIME either, for the simple fact that i did that with my kicker 1200 and about 2-1/2 to 3 months later it blew up... so your best bet for longitivity is to keep the amp backed down a little just for safe measures...
let me know how it sounds, i've always been interested in Infinity speakers i hear they're really good but never heard them first hand...

what do you man turning the amp power up??!! i assume you're talking about the sensitivity control, but i could be wrong.
and for that, just measure the output voltag from the HU, match the same for the amp. You'll be fine with that too, that way you amp isn't trying to extract more power from the HU signal than is already there. . .

yeah i'm talking about the sensitivity... some amps label it as "gain" some label it as Db... some as volume... in any case it's all the same,
so your basically saying to "match" the HU power?
if so i know from a professional source that even though most aftermarket HUs advertise 50X4, or a variation thereof, they are really only pushing 12-20watts per channel... Factory HUs normally push 7-10watts thats where the big difference between factory and AM come in... not to mention carrying other functions such as Preamp outs, Better circuitry and such...
So to say "measure up" the HU voltage you would only be at around a MAX of 20watts per channel if his speakers need 90 per he has a long way to go... but in short terms, "matching up" is what your going to be doing in my process... but instead of guessing, and having distortion at your HUs peak level, you will have clear results...
