LEIPERS FORK: was home to different prehistoric American Indians who later evolved into tribes known today as the Cherokee, Chickasaw and Shawnee. Relics of their past date back some 4,000 years. By 1795, peace had come to the frontier and order prevailed. The area was settled in the late 1790s by pioneering families from North Carolina and Virginia that were given land grants as payment for their services in the Revolutionary War.

The Lane and Leipers Fork :
SATURDAY on October 21st,
The club will be meeting for breakfast at Shoney's on corner of Thompson Lane and Nolensville Road at 9AM to kick off our Fall Cruise!
(Check the website for a complete agenda)
After breakfast, we will be heading down to the Lane Motor Museum for a private viewing of the Nissan Heritage Collection of historic Nissans and Datsuns, recently arrived from the former Nissan Headquarters in California. ($5 admission, $3 - 55 & older, 17 & under is free)
This is a rare opportunity! Dont miss it.
Following the museum, the club will caravan out to Leipers Fork via the Natchez Trace scenic parkway. Plenty of twisty roads and beautiful fall colors are sure to make this a very enjoyable cruise. Once in Leipers Fork, there will be several good eateries for lunch and shops offering a wide array of crafts from antiques to local art galleries.
