I thought so when I first saw it. Checked it out with an old vehicle and my current vehicle. Both came up accurately. Seems like a legit company.
Besides what kind of info are they getting by knowing your VIN number?

Guys,
In the early 1980's the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration/U.S. Dept. of Transport required that all road vehicles must contain a 17 character VIN.
Thus, cars older than 1981 won't work. So you really CAN'T check your first generation Z's.
