Meh, that's stupid... What happens if an animal runs out in front of you or something or you have to stop in an instant because of a pile up in front of you or something? This will just make people lazy and cause more accidents!

"The latest adaptive cruise control, which maintains a set distance from other traffic by altering the car’s speed, and systems that can automatically steer for the driver, were put to the test using experienced and inexperienced motorists at Brunel University. Dr. Mark Young, author of the report, says that, when used together, the systems leave drivers ‘underloaded’ with too little to do, making them less able to respond to emergency situations."

i have the most fun driving my 240 - no cruise control no automatic no AC manuel sterring and tranny drums out back then i drive my dads car or a friends or somethgin and its auto this auto that power everythgin and i just want to crash it or get out and beat it with a bat - i cant stand new cars and i wouldnt be able to stand the 300 if i didnt get to here the turbo spool and down shift taking a corner at speed and still having full controll but whatever im not a big fan of trying to make a car a mobile computer or one of those holograph machine room things like on star trek

I drove a Nissan Pulsar ST as a loaner from the bodyshop when I had my Z in for some work. It only had 3,000 miles on the clock but oh my what a gutless thing it was. The interior also feels so cheaply made versus my Z and that's 20 years old! It seems new cars now days are much simplier interior wise, less bits to install to save cash obviously but it really shows when you sit in them. Feels cheap, looks cheap and the whole dash looks as if you could just take out one screw and the whole thing will fall apart lol
