Tony D is spot on, if you have the money you can get an RB26 head, and an RB30 block setup, so all you have to do is re-tap the head bolts to 12mm (i think) and most of the other stuff lines up.

Great engine for an old Z if you live in a place were RB powered cars were originaly sold. Places that they werent such as here in the states, there a better choices since RBs are kinda expensive and the parts arent easy to get.

The Nissan engine was the nicest (in my opinion) engine ever put into a Commodore (the Holden Tony speaks of). It's a shame it was so short lived.
My cousin had one and it certainly had some balls.
