Turn up the speakers and watch the cool flash animation stuff. I wish my days were like that.
Not a bad design. Style-wise, it is a definite improvement (keeping the model competition in mind) over the outdated style that is out now.

my 2001 sentra is total crap. unreliable, plenty of recalls, odd engine codes every few months. msn used cars gives it a "significant problems" rating:
"Occasional problems on this vehicle are failure of the Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor, the Intake Valve Timing Control Position Sensor and the Engine Control Module. Failure of the MAF Sensor can cause a drivability problem or the check engine light to illuminate. Failure of the Intake Valve Timing Control Position Sensor can cause the check engine light to illuminate. Failure of the Engine Control Module can cause a drivability problem or a no start."
i sure hope the "new" sentra won't have the same teething pains...

What happened to that little hatchback I seem to recall being touted as the replacement for the Sentra?
Looked like this...
Wonder if they are gonna offer this as a different version...
'73 Turbo, not much stock. Sold now... :-(

Hey guys,
Thanks for the heads up on the Sentra's.
I run these cars as daily drivers and it's always good to know what other people are experiencing.
In my opinion, they seem to have peaked at about the '96 model year.
My whole extended family drives these cars and we mostly agree that the '93 SER was the best of the lot.
Hopefully the new models will be better.
The optomist has no brakes, the pessimist has no motor.
I need a good parts car.........

My friend had a SE-R spec V and it was really fun at first but it got old really quick. After we built his SR20DET 240SX the spec V was pretty lame. He ended up trading it for a truck so we could haul parts and cars around with it.
