Q:
I got a hold of terry today, the person that he relied on never sent the motor, the guy just lied and said he did. I am taking an Oldmobile intrigue and a trailer and I am picking it up this weekend so i will have quite a haul out to Illinois. wish me luck

Hmm, if you dont think its a scam, why are you posting his name and asking about him? This generally tends to tarnish somebodys reputation whether they are a scammer or not.
'73 Turbo, not much stock. Sold now... :-(

Sorry, im sure if you sent someone 750 dollars on nov 25th and havent gotten the product yet, you would be a little skeptical, i talked to him several times on the phone, yada yada seemed like a nice guy but still, I am just worried.

did you ask him for a tracking number? Surely you had it shipped with a place that would provide one. Did you insure it?
A:
I asked him for a tracking number, he gave me one to CCX, but it did not work on their site, and it accidenty got shipped to TX(suposedly). It is supposedly being sent up now but he said he would tracki it by phone. He did last he said it was in kentucky but then i got a email today saying that this is the last time i will be able to reach him.

Hmm, he's giving you the runaround, and now telling you this is the last time you'll be able to reach him? Sounds like he screwd you to me. You might want to call the police where he lives and file a report against him, as well as persue nailing him for fraud. If you paid with a credit card, get Visa or MC or whoever after him. If he used the USPS, contact your local postmaster general and tell him what happened and see what your options are.

I paid with a money order, and I looked up all of the goods in his area by MSN white pages and a perfect match came up to a CINDY GOOD being the owner of the house. I saved all my emails for proof, and have my receit from the money order. But i will wait another week before i do take some sort of action.

Paying with a money order is a very bad idea. Its practically the same as cash, no paper trail and you can cash them anywere. It is possible that something like a motor got shipped to the wrong place, it happens all the time. If he is able to track it you should have given you a valid tracking number. I don't know of any shipper that can track something over the phone but not online. If he said you won't be able to contact him anymore then he should have given you a forwarding address. Sounds like he is out to screw you. Reading over his previous posts it sounds like if you do get the motor you will have some work to do. It sounds like he modded it but couldn't get it running, gave up and went with a V8. Good luck.

I remember a VERY long time ago when I first started on this board, the Z31 forum, a guy was ripping lots of people off. We all called the local police and reported him, then we filed complaints with our postmaster generals and got his ass in really hot water. A month or two later his mom sent me a check with a few bucks interest. She had to bail him out when things got serious. Don't even ask how I tracked down the guy who tried ripping me off on some swastika wheels...that was a lot of fun ;)

I like that idea. I know a few guys who could use something like that....
