Just a fun quiz question.
I have a 76 Z and I drove it 2850 miles in 05. How about you?

Being gone 7 months of the year, and having access to a company truck for personal usage I only put 10K on the 260Z this year.
Down by a LOT from the year before, when I put 26K on the Fairlady and 28K the year before that. Most of that is done during a month stint...
That doesn't count the 26K I put on the company truck working in the mideast this past summer---miles I much would have preferred to put on the Z!
Hell, if I didn't do anything else all year but MSA, that would account for two cars getting a minimum of 500 to 750 miles driving in that three day period.
And if there were TWO events done, at least one car would get another 1100 miles in three days for the Iron Bottom Tour.... So no matter what, just recreational usage for me runs up close to 2K miles in the sloooowest year.
So divide that by the 22 Z's in the back, and that's what, 100 miles a year, per car...LOL

Purchased my Z in early April, didn't get it roadworthy till late May, still put around 6k on the car. It is a daily driver, but now that she is in better shape, I let her rest on nasty weather days.
Fully intend on doubling that next year, hopefully all the major repairs are behind me and 06 will be full of twisty roads and long cruises.

Based on mileage from car show to car show I put about 90 miles on my 77. Sad, but I'll put an end to that when I move back home.

Picking up two kids every day on the way home from work eliminates the possibility of driving the Z most Summer days. I only put about 3000 miles on it.

less than 1000 because I spent mega amounts of time restoring the 240z leaving no time to drive the 280z. I WILL make up for this though in 06, I guess that will be my new years resolution.
