Check with your insurance, their are company's that speed dry it, go over all conectors, open up the engine etc

It's not dead yet IMO. I sank a Mazda B2000 (long story) it stayed UNDER for three days.I just drained the oil,put new filter,oil & plugs in after two weeks of drying. She fired right up.I drove it about a year then sold it. Maybe you'll be as lucky:)

its not done dude...
mine was flipped upsidedown in water...
blew the water out... changed oil and filter... cleaned ALL connections, plugs and such... and she fired right up.
drove it like a mother for 2 more years, and then sold her.
she still runs like a friggin champ today.
and as for the gauges... blowdry. the interior... go pressure wash it.
anything else i forgot?

Chad, that sucks man.
It can be saved, but it's gonna take a lot of time and effort.
The insurance company isn't going to be any help, they'll just total it and give you a token sum based on the current valuation that won't come close to helping replace it.
If you want to put the effort into it, you can do it. It makes it easier if you have an engine hoist and a rotisserie...
Anyway, if there's anything I can do to help, let me know. I've got a car trailer with a winch and Dodge to pull it with.

Think man. Why do insurance cos., notoriously cheap, consider a flooded car, old or new, a total loss NO MATTER WHAT?

that's a sad picture, sorry for your loss. And to think I was worried cause we were supposed to have hail last night, didn't, but 2 of my Z's were out due to other cars being in the garages.
