Q:
i am going over my new 83 zxt auto and i noticed that the floor mats kept the gas pedal from going it's proper distance - it is really thick so i cut out a small section - big improvment!
then i noticed the new carpet was kinda loose behind the gas pedal also
so i slice away and now my gas pedal has all the travel it can and WOW!
this car will kick ass fuc#ing move!
now i am not complaining but i was wondering how much turbo boost is ok
it usted to go only slightlyt into the red now it goes more than halfway into the red
this is my first turbo so i thought i would ask
please tell me what boost is ok
thanks
but what a great free mod

Too much boost?
the factory guage is off so don't rely on it, how many miles are on the engine?
I'm not one to hold a car into any kind of red for very long if at all..
