Well if you got lost in a sea of ITB post, you were on the right track there! HEHE.
Lots of Z cars, 1970's-1983's.

ITB's are the best, no doubt, but require so much skill/money/labor that I don't have...yet.

Check RacnJsn95's posts. He't the one who made it. If you can't find it, I'm sure he will repost it when he reads this. He used an SU manny that was welded to an FI manny. He can do wonders with aluminum.

I knew that was on our site, but for some strange reason I didn't see it when I looked earlier....
And the post here, for those interested:

Well, RacnJsn95, did you get that working? How does it run? I've been thinking about that idea a lot lately and I might give it a go in a few years, when I get older/richer.

Drop him a line. He may sell it pretty cheap as he's also selling his Z car.

I'd probably rather make it. I have a SU manifold and a spare FI manifold. Plus if I had that, then I'd have to megasquirt, tune etc.... I've found that doing anything with these cars always ends up taking too long and costing too much. Maybe after the winter.
But I think I'll enquire anyway!

I wonder what the sound of a dual itb set up is compared to the triples set up?

1988 Supra Turbo Maft-Pro my daily driver toy.
1968 Dodge D100 the beast truck that just keeps on going.

No, I never did finish. I've pretty much lost interest in the Z field. I don't want to invest any more money into a car that will still be worth nothing, if its not in perfect resto condition, and I'm not going to do that. There isn't a lot of people that are into Z's here, so I'm having a hard time selling it. You guys should buy it.

"I don't want to invest any more money into a car that will still be worth nothing, if its not in perfect resto condition, and I'm not going to do that."
A fool is one who refuses to recognize a usless endeavour.
That places you squarely in the "fool" catagory Jason. (If you think a car will return your investment for modifications!) Any "low cost" car you will buy will be in that catagory.
We are here because we like to DRIVE what we build, not because we do it for a profit. If you want to make a profit off your car, part it out---most Z's have been worth more as parts than as whole for over 15 years now.
