I came across this page, and instantly though of the dohc crossflow head that 1 fast Z was working on... Check out these guys that took 2 SBC heads, and made them into 1 inline 6 head... Pretty interesting, eh? 1 fast Z, are you still working on that head, or did you give up?

And lots of people on this site scoffed when the idea was first proposed. Over on hybridz too, they laughed, well, now its MY turn!!! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!
seriously tho, when I was first looking inot this project (using KA24E heads, teh DOHC was a realization that came about a year later) I spoke to a machinist in Fargo, ND that was making crossflow heads for Ford 300CI I6's out of 351 heads. and they were JB welding(!) them to seal up coolant passages. they used them in some sort of really weird messed up circle track racing car. and they won, a lot. this was about 4 years ago, mind you.
there is nothing new under the sun, HA ha!
Franks day in the sun will come, no doubt about that.

1980 280zx with a mildly ported N47 maxima head, 60mm TB, -C- stamp 256 degree camshaft, and a 2.5inch mandrel bent exhaust. yeah, its quick, and yeah, its a 2+2. NOW with MSandS_E power!
