Big off season #'s for WJ & Kurt

General Chat

Q:

I'm not a big WJ fan....personally I think he's an a$$.....but this is one a$$ that always has a fast race car, and you just can't knock that.
WJ runs a best speed of 210.08 and Kurt runs a best ET of 6.604 AT legal weight and 600 ft corrected altitude....those are both record runs fellas....by 2 MPH and 3/100's of a second respectively. Mountain motor IHRA Pro Stockers were there testing as well and only running a tenth quicker....Hmmmmmmm, not bad considering WJ was only giving up 100 - 200 cubes to the IHRA guys.

Edit: Of course these numbers WON'T go into the record book since it was only testing.....

That's impressive but lets see how that matches up to Anderson when the season starts. Too bad my favorite driver, Jeg, will be on the sidelines.

That just about floored me when I read about Jeg. The money behind that car, Bob Glidden as your crew chief....makes me think something wasn't right in the personality department. Reher Morisson isn't going to field a car at the start of the season, so Allen is on the sidelines too (my boys).
I thought Connelly was going to do better last year, as far as I know he will still have Grumpy power. It will be interesting to see what Rickie Smith does with that new motor being developed by Richard Maskin at Dart and the boys over at Reher Morisson. Needless to say I just became a BIG Rickie Smith fan!
What can you say about Greg Anderson....he's the man at the moment, and now car owner Ken Black is fielding a Top Fueler too.
