I tried to get a car shipped by Ultimate Logistics Inc. (www.carshipperusa.com) heres what happen after I had to mail them $200
First I was told the car will be picked up between the 2nd and 5th of Dec nothing happen. I called them on the 6th they said the last driver was full and that they had another driver but it would cost me $100 more and they said they would call the guy that has my car for a pickup time. Well I called him first and he said they told him he had to pay $75 for the driver to pickup the car. Thats odd why would he have to pay? Anyway they said the car would be picked up after 5pm. Never happen so I called them the next day and all they would tell me is the car would be picked up after 5pm. Guess what it never happen. That’s three strikes your out!!! I called up another company. They said I would not have to pay a deposit until they had my car on the trailer. The car was picked up the same day I called and they even gave me the drivers name and number. I am trying to get my money back but I know it will never happen. I did call them and asked them what was going on and they said they are still trying to find a driver. I told them I went with another company and I wanted my money back. They said have a nice day and hung up on me. This company is a scam. The fight is not over .

Yep, always do your research. Plenty of good shipping companies out there, but you have to be careful.

As I have discovered, the BBB is a waste of time. As long as the business keeps sending back letters claiming they tried to make you happy but you were unreasonable, you have to keep responding to keep the claim open, and it doesn't show on their record. I had this exchange with a business for 1.5 years before giving up. The BBB itself is a joke if you know how to get around it.

If you mailed money to them, you could always try mail fraud.

And if you did it by credit card, you should be able to get your charges reversed.

Find every site that advertises this company and mail the webmasters. Hit all the car forums you can find and tell your story. Try to get contact information for anyone else who comes forward with the same issues. Create a poll of victims and their info then send it to the BBB. Find out how many (if any) of the other victims would pitch in on a group lawsuit. The more people that pitch in the less it will cost for each of you and you could save others from having the same problems. The lawsuit could even force them to shutdown if there's enough people. Not sure how much work you're willing to put in, but aside from the time it takes to do everything you could end up not paying a dime or could even make money with claims for time lost, aggrivation, etc... Just a thought.
