They make V8/RWD conversions for the focus.

And they are very, very fast in a straight line. I've heard they have some handling issues to work out after the conversion. While working in indiana I ran accross a guy who turned out to be a customer that had a V8 RWD focus, one of the first kits he claimed. He said it was top heavy or at least felt that way after the RWD swap, guess that is sort of predictable. I do not like the car personally, but can respect a good preformer regardless.

The handling issues are due to the solid rear axles used....And the very first people to start the V8 swap are located down here in Florida...Tavares Florida to be exact. They are called Tillman's Custom Fabrication, and are backed by Ford Racing. I was "lucky" enough to get to ride in one (estimated cost of $90,000), and all I have to say is HOLY SH*T.....

And now that I look at their site again, you can see my brother's Eclipse in the "Shop Work" section of past projects. We were there getting an exhaust put on it...

Man I love those wheels
A:
Dropping 90,000 bones for a V8 Focus!!! you have to off your medication to want to do that!
"maroons" who pay for this really NEED to get their priorities straight. I mean $90,000 will get you a V-Spec Skyline GTR and still leave you enough money for bribing the DMV AND the inevitable speeding tickets.
A:
Yeah that's a little overpriced. Unless it's like a Cosworth v8 then I'd pay like $30-35 tops, and thats if I was HUGE into Focuses, or racing.
A:
Yeah, I'm sure for 90K you could get the AWDrivetrain from the RS Rally focus with the 300HP Cosworth engine.
God must love stupid people, he made SOOOOO many of them!

What wheels Matt?
