Q:
After seeing some people post their RC cars on here a while ago I got the bug to get myself a Nitro powered car. This is the beast I'm getting, rated on-road speed of 80MPH! Crazy fast, look at this clip:

Haha! :) I dont have mine yet, should have it next week. Just thought I had to share it because this is going to be one sick rc car!

I have to admit that I thought the best part was when the cute chick shows up... ;-)
Damn, those things stop on a dime too!! How much for a typical setup? Probably ~$400-800 ?

you can get a RTR 1/8'th scale xtm buggy for about 300-350, but the good ones costs about 400 RTR, pleases keep in mind this guy races these thing for a living.

That one in the clip above retails for $699, it's a real beast... Most 1/8th scale RC cars that run on nitro fuel are real expensive, if it's not then something's wrong with it heh... Some people spend thousands of dollars on their cars, pretty crazy but a real cool hobby in my opinion.
I couldnt decide if I wanted a buggy or a monster truck, so I got both. I also have a HPI Savage 25 monster truck on order.
See it in action... (I love this clip, watch for the perfect summersault at the end)
Also advice I was given by a friend is to avoid second hand nitro RC cars if possible, because you dont know how they've been treated and when you get it new work in your motor as per the instructions!

Crazy stuff!!!!! But I like iT!:-)
Datsun 280 ZX Turbo Targa 2+2 83 ´ Euro model = 20 hp ekstra. Porsche 944 IC with nice piping running max 12 PSI = about 200 hp on the wheels. I´m almost alone with my ZXT here in Denmark, Copenhagen.
Lets make a 360 and get the HELL out of here!

the savage is a reliable truck, but the MT2 is far better.
i also race these things daily, so let me no if you have troubles or questions with it.

I checked out the site for it, looks very cool. More of a stadium truck than a monster truck and it's a kit! Way out of my league for now. I will wait until I have mastered my Savage before I even attempt building a kit! Hehe...
