Pixar's "Cars" are not like Chevrons. The difference is in the placement of the eyes. With Chevron, The eyes are the headlights. With Pixar the eyes are in the windshield. Oixar said they felt they could do more with the windshield as the ees because they could use the hood as the nose and thereofe have more of a face to animate for more expression. Pretty cool if you ask me.
