Q:
I know I've been slacking but the now she's out and driving (on my street).
I took her out yesterday and knocked the surface rust off the rotors. She drove great but I think I need to bump the timing a bit.
I still have to figure out what I'm gonna do about the front swaybar hitting the oilpan but I have an idea that I'm sure will work great, I hope to work on that part tomorrow.
After that the car will be ready for some driving around the city to workout the bugs.
That's the update, now for the second reason for this post.
Ok I now need a plate on this beast. I was thinking a regular plate but this is a special car and then I started to think "vanity plate".
Here's what I have come up with that I know fits and is available.

For those who don't know, the car is an S13 coupe with an L28ET in it. She's the first of her kind as far as I know but now there's a guy on Hybridz that has one. Lookout fellas they're multiplying....

280SXTC ??? i was gonna do 280ZXTC but never got a vanity plate, but this is cool, my 82's state issued plate is this "38F256C" so i guess i have the 260z cam by coincidence.

Today I buttoned up the inside of the car and put the trunk back together. All the wiring is done except for installing the sterio (that's for after I drive it for a week or so). Everything in the engine bay is complete except for the AC retrofit which comes later this winter.
I hope to do the front swaybar thing Sunday.
It feels awsome to have the car 99% road ready.
I'm still thinking about the plate. i may just get the plain state issue because I don't plan on living here for too much longer..
