Greetings, A friend of mine wants an K&N filter for a 2002 Maxima for Christmas. Is there a difference in performance or air turbulence problems.

The questions would be, which one has more surface area? the one with more surface area is the one I'd pick. LEss air restriction and longer intervals between needing cleaned.

As far as I know if it didn't take a cone in the first place you are going to need an adapter or an intake system.
