well,,,if everything YOU owned was flooded with saltwater (including your home, clothes, cars, job),,,,you wouldn't have much choice but to scrap it either.
at least i pulled alot of parts from it to keep others on the road.
just remember that the next time you need some expensive had to find part for your 84,,,,some have to be destroyed.
fairlady,,,drop me an email, we'll work something out cheap. i also have a 77 and an 83 turbo i'm scrapping,,,most of the turbo drivetrain parts are already spoken for.

oh yeah,,,,BTW,,,i'm a college educated criminal justice major,,,and i was a casino poker room shift manager. since the storm though,,,seems most people down here have become "rednecks" doing what they have to do to survive.

The body kit is molded on. we looked to remove it but it would most likely break into pces. That was one of the things we looked at. It's some real work stripping a car apart with rusted and corroded parts.

i saved the doors, hatch, and steering lock,,,so the locks should be available on ebay soon too.
zx toy,,,it was more than one,,,,a 75, a 77, and an 83 turbo. along with my 77 GMC jimmy 4X4, a 2001 dodge neon, a 92 suzuki GSX750, a 93 ford tempo (POS anyways), the 87 crown vic (transportation to and from work), an L28ET with 76,000 original miles (on a stand), and a high compression F54/n42 motor (also on a stand waiting for rings). all my tools, pets, clothes, computer,,,,pretty much everything.
someone on the news said it best though,,,,"you see all your things going underwater or being swept away,,,and you just don't care"
also available are pallnet's old carbs (round top 4 screw SU's with K&N's AND pallnet's FIRST carb rail),,,a 6-1 header (sqaure port, but i had it on an N47 no probs),,,a NICE set of stock black seats,,,and my 77 is still complete,,so if anyone needs any interior plastic, most of that is still good.
