I got a good chuckle out of a teenager driving a purple prelude today. I was with my girlfriend on my way to go play some paintball and took my dads nissan pickup. Its an average pickup, white with factory decal swooshes on the side, a camper shell, and of course a four cylinder 5spd. Its a '97 pickup that with the shell on will do at best 105 down hill with the wind at its back, trust me I tried and it only took about 3 minutes to go from 70 to 100. Anyway, I was crusing down interstate 26 and was in a bit of a hurry so i was doing about 80 to 85 mph in the fast lane. I happen to pass a few cars when I looked over and saw the prelude, made eye contact with the guy but kept about my merry way (it is christmas hehe). I passed him and got about 50 yards infront of him, just far enough to see him in the rear view through the shell, when to my surpise I hear the gut wrenching sound of a rice pipe and a few seconds later i see him pass me at about 95 or so.
He slows down enough for me to catch up and then looks up at me as if he had accomplished something. As if out of a movie, both my girlfriend and i pointed and laughed at him. Needless to say he wasnt to happy and for the second time this morning I heard the rice pipe as he tried to speed away.
We about died laughing that this kid, whom had 3 buddies with him, was threatened enough by a 4 cylinder pickup to try to race us. It saddens me to think that I live in the same town as this kid.
I think that with the driving test, there should also be a stupidity test to filter out people like this. Pickup w/ aerodynamics of a brick Vs. Prelude??? I think its about time to pass the pipe champ.

This reminds me of the time I got picked on by a chick with the plates "MSVTIR", that sure made my day... She was in a modded and riced 97 Civic hatch loaded with hunnies - but i whooped her honda ass.
