Funny how a car can nail it and not phase the tree... Shoot it with a 12 gauge shot gun slug... will rip the bark off with a 12" dia.

car covers more surface area then shotgun slug...
same as the thing with the elephant and lady in high heels...the lady in high heels puts more pressure down then if an elephant stood on one leg ...
