Maybe I am wierd, but why do people come to the forum asking for CarFax reports. Aren't they available to anyone? I thought to get a CarFax report you simply go to the website, pay a fee, and type in the VIN. What is the deal with people coming on here asking for CarFax report checks. Let me know if I am wrong, please. Otherwise, my advice to the poster above would be....DO IT YOURDAMNSELF

2) run it yourself
do it yourself and i think there is a buy-back guarantee. just getting the info wont mean squat. your call.

I've gave out at least five car fax requests back in Aug/Sept. One person was very polite & thanked me. The other ones, nary a word. Well, I take that back, one guy sent back to me a request for three other VINs to check. Not that it matters, but only half of them were for Zs.
This is the future folks. It's the entitlement mentality that society has taught today's kids. Because one person paid the full price fee to check their car, they can check everyone else's VIN for "free."
