I just started the engine page on my web site. Take a look at what I have so far. I need to snap some morew pictures of the bottom end before I button it up for the LAST time, famious last words, but I have a good start on the page. I need some pics of the cam as well I guess, but we all know I could dedicate an entire page to that topic.
anyway have a good one guys and gals.

Hey Jeff. You state the flow at that pressure, but what is the valve lift that it was taken at?

Lookin' good Jeff.
I was just perusing the rest of your site and was curious where you got your rear toe/camber kit. I couldn't find it for the ZX at MSA or VB.
Also, it doesn't look like Phonebooth.com is up anymore. If you have Mike's info, I'd like to get ahold of him about getting that brake setup for my ZXT.
Thanks,
WW

The flow rates were taken @ 500 lift, or 550 lift. I have to get the data sheet from Nathan. I have the preliminary data sheets, and those were the head flow without the intake manifold and with the intake manifold. I plan on getting some additional pictures, I guess I could try to get some port pictures, the head is on the engine now.
Mike, well I tried to use his link and it was not working for me either. The guy still owes me for a set of hawk blues, or 100.0 bucks for them.
I dont have any flow numbers for the head done in Japan, not sure if I can get them either.
The rear camber/toe kit came from Special Products, you can order the kit from Stillen, talk to Andrew in sports cars andthat it is the kit he got for me and he should be able to get it for you.

I was going to ask Tony about the head from Japan, I think it is the N42, but it could also be an E88 head. I am sure Tony will be able to identify the head. Tony knows al of the changes and mods to the heads. I was really never prevy to all of the mods done to all of the heads myself being a new comer to the L engines, at least in the case of King Tony LOL.

Awsome mate !

the one from japan has no injector ports. That would mean it is an e88, right?

I will take those JDM reworked heads out of the shde in the back and take them to Mondello for some flow checks.
They were done by RS Okinawa in the mid eighties, and chances are the JDM head on Jeff's page was done by the same guy. Many engine builders sent their engines or at least the heads down to RS Okinawa for rework.
I guess it was like sending Chevy Heads from detroit down to North Carolina for reworking. They may have made them in Detroit, but they race em in North Carolina! Same for Okinawa.... that and cheap laor from being an economically depressed area at the time (though Machinists and Engineers on Okinawa benefitted from the American Largesse and bases being stationed there...) I digress...
<Edit> I digress further at Jeff's Expense... My kid saw the Jack in the box commercial where the holiday says "my nose is a carrot", burps, and passes out, and laughs saying "It's the Jeff Ball!" It came so out of thin air and spontaneously it was hard to contain the obvious reaction. Jeff, no more appletinis for you! What does this have to do with the post? Freakin nothing! LOL <Edit>
