Q:
my buddy bought an infiniti q45 the other day...don't know the year....he bought it in another state and just told me. he said that in the morning he has to use the gas pedal to keep it running, later on in the day it starts easy....we're prob gonna take it in to have it checked....see if it throws any codes....but i was wondering if there are any infiniti guys out there that might know what part seems to be going bad here.
thanks guys

What year Q?.
Might be coolant level so make sure it's full. Don't remember them having a cold start injector, so cold start is done by sensing the coolant temp.
Check for a leak also If its an older Q, Look down between the intake runners in the engine valley. They usually have a lot of coolant sitting in there when there is a hose leaking under the intake.

I dunno but I found this board and this board awhile back when I was looking into buying a Q. Might find some help there or then again they could be something like z33 drivers ;)

Early 90's 45's are great cars but take a lot of dedication to maintain. I opted for an ls400 after researching them further, their timing chains break without warning on cars with even low miles.
