Q:
I know there are several guys here from Mississippi. Anyone from the Hazelhurst region? I buzzed through there today on my way to Natchez and saw a couple of Z's together at a house. I know one had a for sale sign, both maybe.
Let me know!
Thanks,
Cooper

Duh. Sorry about that, my brain isn't in gear tonight.
If you're heading on I-55 south out of Jackson, and take the exit for Hazelhurst, head south towards Natchez, and they're just a few miles down. I'll be heading back north tomorrow and will probably stop and at least get the number. Got the family with me so I can't take the time for an inspection. I'll post up what I find. Might be worth the trip up, as if you have nothing else to worry about down there.
Thanks,
Cooper

hey, iam in pearl, and i go to brookhaven all the time, me and a coupe of friends have some z's down there..
if you are talking about going down I55 S, taking the hazel hurst exit, and turning right, and going down a few miles, there is a blue 280, and a brown '79 280zx, side by side near the road, neither of which are worth messing with, the 280z, is an auto, and the roof is caved in, and it has been getting rained in, and if i remember correctly the zx is not worth a crap either.. but it has been a while since i have seen them.. but if i remember correctly, the were asking some outragous price for them, one of those "running when it was parked 10 years ago" type deals..
but if you are in ms, i would love to get to know all of the local z guys..

Hey Shake,
Those are the two I was talking about. Thanks for giving me the lowdown on them. I've seen them there for years, and have always meant to stop and take a look at them. I didn't know if there were any useful parts in them or not. I'll probably still stop and get the guy's number. Maybe after so long, he'll have given up on the idea of selling them as running cars.
I'm not a MS guy, I'm from Alabama, buy I go through there several times a year to visit family in Natchez.
Thanks,
Cooper

A:
no, it is pretty hard to find decent z cars around here... there are a few garage queens, but for the most part, they are rust buckets..
