What was the theory someone came up with about cow farts creating a high rise in methane levels?
Wonder what the methane level was during the age of the largest dinosaurs?
There's another theory about the ice melting, making sea temperature colder and stopping northern warm currents, triggering another ice age within ten years after the current stops.
The Earth probabally is getting warmer, but a couple of good volcanic eruptions will through enough ash in the atmosphere would cool things down disasterously.

CO2 levels are no conspiracy, because the last 100 years have been easy to measure (and have been measured by counltess people) and they have risen in that time alone.
Note that the article doesn't talk much about global warming. They just say that CO2 levels are much higher than in the past 650,000 years, along with methane levels. Take that for what you will. They only briefly hint at temperature correlations later in the article. If the article was designed to produce fear and confusion, it would have had a title like "Global warming skyrockets due to CO2!"
It's not hard to figure out. We produce lots of CO2 and we cut down trees all over the planet. What do you expect CO2 levels to do? They are going to rise unless you do something to control them, like plant more trees or bury the CO2 in the ground.
Someone asked me the other day if I felt guilty driving a Z-car which "obviously" produces more emissions than most cars on the road. I showed him my emissions slip from the last test and shut him up (very low emissions at 3k+ rpm). :) Of course, I didn't tell him that CO2 goes up as you burn more gas at higher rpms...

Damn tree huggers are ruining the planet by speading false claims. No such thing as green house gasses, global warming, and there is no hole in the ozone. Cars have been around, what, little over 100 years?? And the planet?? Oh yeah, they dont really know that either.
