yea we asked the valet if he could pop the hood, but he said they werent allowed to do that. I looked on thier site and is like 600+HP. Coming out of the side right there i would have though it was loud, but it was super quiet. I bet the exhaust goes half way down the car and then comes back.

I saw one of these on some UK car show called 5th gear, they took it for a test ride... That car oesn't handle very well at all and requires VERY aggressive steering just to keep it straight. There are way better cars to burn 400k on.

The styling is almost there - but that phallic symbol hood is a joke. It has to be.
Only a drunk Madison Ave. adman could think of that but what of the Daimler or was it Chrysler influence. What were these people on to let that go into production.

The hood is supposed to reflect its F1 roots, like they built the carbon fiber body around the F1 car. I think they look very, very cool. Like the batmobile that Val Kilmer drove in Batman Forever! The Wheels were designed to look like the compressor fans on a turbine engine, and they look way cool IMO. Those guys on 5th gear are very smart, and know what their talking about, but I'd still buy one if I had the disposable cash just because its awesome.

They designed this car as a human friendly supercar.
You don't have to be a race car driver to enjoy this car because it has loads of mechanical grip and killer brakes.
I still think of it as a poser's car (Merc badge). There are other supercars in the same price range that offers more driving thrills.
Gordon Murray was head of development on this car.
I sure wish the marketing at Mercedes did not have as much influence . . .

They have one of these at Walter's Mercedes in Riverside, and I think it's fugly. I would'nt buy one if I could, too many better looking cars out there.
