I had to post this, normally I wouldn't even care. Someone in VA is selling an 81 280ZX black/tan leather with 11k. Now that in itself is great but he lists it as "extremely rare edition". I wanted to write him but stopped; when I bought my 81 back in 81 there was 15 of these black/tan leather 280ZX's on the lot. To top that I've seen about 10 on this site this year for sale. It's a great car, clean, 11k, but for $16,000? It's not a turbo, and it most certainly is not a rare edition like he said. And yet, some numb-nut will fall for it and buy it, I'm sure. Had to share.

Yeah, the guy I bought my 77 from tried to tell me it was rare. After giving him a run down on the Z car family and the basics of finding a decent restorable Z he brought his price down, but not as much as I would have liked.

It is worth $16,000 to some fool who doesn't research it, and has the coinage to burn.
