For those who are interested in the mainshaft nut and countershaft nuts for the 5 speed transmission. The mainshaft nut part number is 32354-E9803 & is a M27x1.0 in size, Left Hand thread. The countershaft nut is a pn 32236-E9500 and is a righ hand thread, (smaller diam nut) According to my Nissan dealer, they list both of the mainshaft nuts in the parts lists and the callout is for either the LH or RH.
The mainshaft nut is 1-1/2 wrench size in SAE.
The countershaft is 1-1/16 wrench size in SAE.
Hope this info helps to point someone in the right direction as far as locating the nuts.

Yes, the later versions had the left hand thread. Earlier ones had the RH thread (the ones that came loose; that's why they changed to LH)).
