What was I thinking? (A look back)

Q:

It was 10 years ago when I was bitten by the Z bug.
(I was just cleaning out the crawl space and stumbled along these photos)
This was my first Z project. A friend and I rebuilt this car in 32 days and I gave it to my daughter on her 16th birthday, red bow and all.
Was I out of my mind? I had to have been.
(Sorry for the poor picture quality, digital pics of old photos)
Day 1 ($150.00 Car with Flinstone floor boards and 10% of the frame gone)
Day 32 (The reveal)
The car lasted 2 years and after the 3rd crash it was totaled and was hauled away on a flatbed.
On the bright side some of its componants still live on in my current project car. She still talks to me when the turbo kicks in.
10 years later I have come to my senses. I build them for me now.

phxz31, theres another pic of one in my profile if you wanna see it. I actually like the lines better on the 280zx 2+2 than the coupe, but thats just me :).
