Hello, Anybody
The battery died on a friends 2003 Honda Oddessy so we had AAA put a new battery in. The radio now won't work(error) & the kids want the dvd shows. Where do you locate this 5 digit number other than the card that the family has misplaced. Honda says pull the radio for $80 more but I think glove compartment or in the paper work somewhere. Why can't they just detache the front end like aftermarket. Buttheads!! ERRR Thanks for your help

Ha, the first time I took out my stereo in my Acura I freiked because it wouldn't come on. It was a good thing the card was still in the car. I really don't understand why they put that crap on the Factory stereo's, its not like some retard is going to be able to drop it into his beater street car and tell somebody they bought it at Best Buy.
'73 Turbo, not much stock. Sold now... :-(

So you guys called the dealer? You would think they would be able to pull up the stereo code by VIN. I mean, they want the VIN for everything else, why not they stereo code?
Like this one time i went to the chevy dealer for lt1 parts for a friend doing a swap into a 3rd gen camaro. Can you believe they wanted a VIN to sell me parts?

When I bought my Honda Accord stereo on E-bay I took it to the dealer and "Juan" in parts gave me a little verbal workover, then he gave me the secret "revitalization Code." He just looked it up real fast after I showed the e-bay winning bid paperwork. NK
