Doesn't surprise me. They have been talking about this car for about 6-8 months now. Basically, it's painfully obvious the Enzo wasn't the dominating force it was supposed to be. It's still the fastest, but the new z06 beat every other ferrari every made around nuremburg [sp]. This is the 'race' version of the enzo, I'd bet it is a real auction, Dec. is when they are being released as well.

Even if it's an auction, I doubt your average joe millionaire or billionaire would be able to attend. Doesn't Ferrari decide who they want to sell some of their models to? I heard that you have to have owned or own two previous Ferrari models before they would sell you an Enzo. I'm sure the owner will probably hand pick anyone who attends that auction. If I was selling that car (yeah, I'd have 1.5 mil) but I would still not want to sell it to someone I knew was going to rag it out or wreck it.

Yep, before you buy an enzo, you have to own at least 2 other ferraris. And I believe one of them has to be a specific model, something like the F30 or F40.
