Get some 16s or 17s, drop it an inch...fix the bodywork and you're set
A:

NO! DO NOT DROP IT!! very fabuloso!!! you have a prime example of what a 280z should look like, when you keep it stock it always looks good, keep the louvers, and i would go for some 280zx rims, after that you'll be set my friend, if i was a chick i would be on the hood of that car posing in a swimsuit LOL, but iam not so ill set a picture as screensaver......... thumbs up

17s are too big for S30s, IMO. I like 15s or 16s the best.

Agree for wheels, 15's or 16's max, hows the accident looking? Who was found at fault? I had the same thing happen to me a couple years ago, but I was able to stop, so did the guy behind me, and the guy behind him. It was all good until the 4th guy in the line plowed the 3rd guy, who ran into 2nd guy who was pushed into me. Guy at back had no insurance. Thankfully it was just the bumper that was damaged.
'73 Turbo, not much stock. Sold now... :-(

I beg to differ with the 17s
I won't go over 17s, but I think they can look very nice on S30s or S130s
But hey, then again, it's just an opinion

Nah, 16's with some nice wide tires give it a better look and makes her a$$ look big. IMHO that's the way to go.

jbond,
How did you get this car so low. I am running 17's also but i don't look that low sitting on my rims. lowering springs or coil overs?

Ground control coilovers. My v8 s130 is a little lower - I'll try to snap a decent shot of it to show ya. I can't even fit it on the alignment rack at work because it bottoms out on the lift, which kinda ticks me off, because I just replaced the rack & pinion Saturday, and my toe is pretty messed up.

Not sure how exactly to post a picture but if it doesn't show up you can see it on my profile. I like both 16's and 17's but decided on the 17's and glad I did.

Restore it to factory. PERIOD! These cars should not be altered if body and frame are clean. Yours looks clean so restore it to factory. Any mods should be stealth; not visable. The car will be worth more, you'll get more compliments, and you'll have a pure piece of automobile history.
