I dont think hybrids like that will ever take off, look how bored he was driving it! If it wasn't for the fact it was the only one and being scared to crash it, he would of been half asleep driving that thing. Until they make hybrids that are FUN to drive, nobody will ever buy them...

The hybrids aren't really boring by design, it's just their current market. I bet the GS hybrid and new LS500 V8 twin electric motor hybrid will at least give you some excitement in the striaghts, about 450/450 in output and high 20's in MPG highway.
The main problem now is weight, IMO anyways. Eventually there will be a balance and the extra weight for the fuel economy and additional low end torque will even out.

It's not a hybrid.
A:

Hybrid is a gasoline/electric combo drive(a hybrid between an engine powered car and an electric motor powered car).
This is not a hybrid, it's a fully electric car.
A:
Call it a hydrogen fuel cell car.

Yeah that works... I wonder what's with making all those alternative fuel cars so funky looking though?

Those designs are the future!
Get ready for it.
That's all you will get.
When those cars are king your Z will be illegal, A GROSS POLLUTER, and only fit for display in a museum as a non-operational piece of history.
You may be arrested for ownership of such an environmental hazard.
Schools will bring tours to the museum and children will laugh at the antique passenger mover! So funky. So 20th. Century.

Yeah you're probably right, although we haven't even got the to stage of smog testing yet here in Australia. Thank god for coastal living and fresh sea breezes lol

Well, these cars are already 30-35years old.
In another 30 years they WILL BE in a museum.
No surprise there.
These cars are a dying breed anyway, look around and it' s already very rare to see a 240z on the road. Face it, the future is here.
