Has anyone ever had a problem with ordering items thru Eastwood? Im so pissed right now over a double charge. I ordered a few items from them before with no problems at all and thought they were a respectable company, but my last order I was double charged for when I placed the order. They claim my bank was at fault, my bank claims the request was sent thru twice. My biggest concern is the lady I spoke to in customer service who completely jumped my #$#% for asking why I was billed twice. It was as if I was totally on the defensive for asking a question. Really sucks to call up and try to figure out a problem and have someone jump down your throat and treat you like crap for asking to confirm a payment...Just curious if this has been a problem for anyone else?

Did you use either a credit or debit card? If so, call the issuer (Visa or MC). They will probably be more likely to help.

Was my debit card linked to checking account. Called my bank and they said they will cancel one of the charges, but I should inform Eastwood of this and that if they pursue the second charge then it will become a fraud claim. Dunno, Ive never had this happen and like stated, Im a little put off by the customer services rudeness when questioning being billed twice. I just wanted them to double check and I felt as if I was some type of criminal for asking them why I was billed twice for an item I bought. Guess for me, I want to hear "Let me look into that" rather than all the defensive jibberish and ranting from there customer support that I had to go thru.

Poor customer service at it's best.Just call your bank and explain the situation.Then call eastwood and ask to speak to a customer service supervisor.Be nice and you should be ok.

Yes, I wouldnt of posted unless there was some reason to be spectacle. All I can say is be wary of them. Im sure they have some new people working in there office or something but the way they handle there customer service is somewhat "ghetto" as far as Im concerned. I asked to speak to a supervisor and the gal went off on me, I dont know, I guess Im kind of too respectul when talking one on one to fathom what its like to be completely tore into sometimes. I took it as a major shock lol. My wife is usually the one who handles stuff like this because she has the nastiness inside her!

Keep trying and if they're being nasty to you.Voice your opinion.Most of the conversations are recorded.If that dosen't get you anywhere.Go to their website and find the contact info.
