Q:

i have a 76 runnin /project that was running just fine, but one day I was working on it when it started acting like it was missing on 1 or 2 cylinders.Within a period of about 20 or so minutes it got to where it would'nt run under about 1200 rpm,or over about 2200 rpm.The fuel pump/ filter /regulator is working fine.Plugs/wires are new.All the terminals of the control harness ohm out OK ,the voltages are correct on the right terminals. The injectors are operating , maybe not perfectly but they were doing just fine. The coil is putting out , the distributor is within spec's.I,ve swapped out the thermotime & coolant temperature sending units. All to no avail ,has anyone ever had this weird stuff happen before? If so ,what all was it.I've cleaned all the connections@ each plug in device too, still to no help.

Dropping resistor...? This really should be in the '70-'83 tech forum.
