Nobody mentioned Kukla, Fran and Ollie???
So far, Zazu's got two out of three.........
The third, actually the first photo above, is Henry ..... , and was the one from NYC.
His notoriety has something to do with taxi's in NYC, and he was the first person in the "new world", so to speak with this distinction.
I'll admit, somebody beat him to it on the european front...... :-o !!
In the "For-what-it's-worth-dept"......Kettering was the first to produce an electric starter, and ignition too, but the starter "invention" if you will, was prompted because a good friend of his died from injuries sustained when he was struck with the old crank handle while trying to start his car.........Hmmm
Ransom Olds, was the first to set up and innovate the Assembly Line ! !
Nope, wasn't Henry Ford, he BOUGHT the idea from Olds !!!!!!!
