1972 240z w/L28, tokico shocks and springs, and a 5 speed waiting. Also running high performance ultra mega blinker fluid, that's at least an extra 50hp to the wheels.
1987 Toyota Supra Turbo 5-speed. Belongs to me until my friend get's back from Iraq.

I'm amazed by the pricing, some cars are worth $1,000,000+ while some of the 70s models are just like $25,000.

That, boys, is what we call bragging rights.
Check out this detailed history on a 1992 F40 though:
Quote:
2002, 26 Feb., major service done at Ferrari of Los Gatos. Four new tires fitted. Engine out major service. Cam belts and all 15,000 mile or five year service work done. All oil hoses replaced. New bellhousing fitted because of porous casting. All anodized or powder coated suspension fittings, brake parts, sway bar brackets replated or replaced. Mileage noted on opening invoice was 950 miles "in", 978 miles "out" when closed on 2002, 05 June. Invoice total amount $51,405.98.
2004, 14 Dec., sold by Mike Sheehan’s www.Ferraris-online.com with mileage at 1,068 miles. The new owner then had a full major 30,000 mile “belt service” done by Rod Drew’s F.A.I., Costa Mesa, CA. Fitted with new cam belts, water pump rebuilt and new posi–traction plates at a cost of $10,165.09.

Makes me feel a LOT better about my 120k service!

Some of those are very reasonable.... still very reasonably out of my budget though.

Datto, there is a car you don't like? I'm shocked.
Those cars are absolutely beautiful.
Sure you can buy one for 30K, but the maintenance cost will be huge.
I want the 911 Turbo...mmmmm...911

The Superamerica is beyond sweet....what a timeless peice of art. You know, I look at a car like a VW or a Civic...I think...hmm...that car looks alright but in three years the new body style will emerge and it will just look old.
I look at a Ferrari and I think...no matter how old that car is, it will always be beautiful. The cars are just pure, unadulterated automotive beauty. That's why I am crazy about Ferrari. I actually don't care to ever own one, but having the opportunity to drive one for a few days cross country or something...that is one of my lifelong goals.
Previously owned: 2005 Z Enthusiast, Super Black, 6 spd.
Currently lease: 2006 Pathfinder S, Silver, Auto
