Q:
Wow... my first ever post in car-talk...
anyway... I just got back from going to Autozone and Checker.... and was parking my car and some guy was also pulling into the apartment complex.
He asked me if I wanted to sell the car.... I said no...
He said he used to have a Z and was looking for a another one in decent shape for a second car...
Hehe... if he only knew that I got it for $375...

I had an old guy offer me 10k for my Z at a car show once, and it doesn't even look that great! I think he was a liar, though.

I get people all the time telling me to keep my Z for a while, because it's gonna be workth lots of money. I just nodd and say yes it will. But that's not the reason I am keeping. It's just so damn much fun to drive.

Had plenty of inquiries over the years, but no one will even spit out a price when asked.

NZR, but I used to have the same guy offer to buy my MR2 almost every week on my way to work.
We always ended up at the same stoplight (he drove a prelude) and each time he would try and convince me to sell it.
Always cool when car guys get to talk, whatever the reason.
