Clean, but what a waste to keep it in the garage for 23 years. At least he put new tires on it. I would bet money the rest of the rubber on that thing disintegrates within 1000 miles of normal driving.
Rubber components, especially from the 70's and early 80's, can degrade significantly over time and I'm pretty sure 23 years = a lot of time...
Of course, who am I to judge, my ZXT has just under 19,000 on it and I haven't driven it in nearly 2 years... ;(
