Well... looks like I have gone domestic with the most popular ever!

General Chat

Q:

:-D Some what of a Mustang hater myself, I have always thought the 80's 5.0's were sporty and solid. Found a great deal on this one. Has quite a few upgrades, but what I really liked about it is, it has new suspension, and 4 disc brakes. I know I am prolly' going to get an ear full. But when I am done with it, you may be trying to avoid me at the track. ;-)
My ZX is still in the car port, but it may be gone soon. I will still be stoppping by some and acting like I still own a ZX. :-)

All up to personal preference. Not a fan of that body style myself. Have fun with it!

A:

Yeah, I was looking for a hybrid Z. My budget wont allow me to do it myself at this time. I found one Z, was thinking about getting it, but it was an automatic. I wanted a manual. This is a manual.

YEah, this mustang aint that old. Most Z's have 10 + years on it.
A:

It does what it was built to do well. There are still 5.0's/4.6's tearing up drag tracks around the nation. Enjoy the car.

I'm sure Datto will love it. Cool car though. I had one in highschool when I lived in Virginia - It ended up in the James river back in the winter of 94/95. lol - fun while it lasted.

About as ugly as the 350z.
I LOVE the 5.0 engines. They're tons of fun, bulletproof, and damn do they sound good.

Those older Mustangs look nice. I would love to have one in great shape and running solid. Good luck.
A:

I like the way they look, if they have the GT body kit. There is a little, function over form to it. I like it. But it ain't really pretty. Mine is rough looking now. With an 80's teal checkered flag on it. eww, I know. But someone liked it at one time I guess. Prolly' wore hot pink triangle sunglasses while driving it. :-D
A:

The bodykit dont even fit properly, the front fender and bumper dont line up at all, what's with that?

very sweet dude, check it out, just keep it nice, clean, stock looking. and keep the color of it white, maybe a new white paintjob, and no one can talk mess about it, i think its a great car, i see a lot of mexi-fied 5.0's, keep it clean and it will be a awsome car, btw 5.0's sound the sweetest

A:

i like that body style, and the 94/95 gt wheels don't look so bad on it. not a fan of the gt kit, like the 93 cobras though. i even like the notchbacks. that generation of mustang has the cheap speed formula going for it, and they sound so sweet like datto said.

5.0s are probably the best sounding small block out there. And I love notchbacks. They arent that heavy either.

Yeah', I noticed that. It looks warped a little.
I like the white. But I have a black paint job in mind they may make it look fierce. Plus aftermarket wide wheels. (cheap ones)

And throw the kit in the trash ;)
