Hi folks,
I did a stereo install on my 77. I needed to make 6.5 inch speaker enclosures for the door panels. So, before I tore into the Zebra wood (mucho $$$$$) I used a few practice pieces made out of particle board to get the cuts right. I started to upholster them with vinyl but soon lost interest upon installing the Zebra wood ones. To finish these correctly, you would probably have to take them to an upholstery shop or if you are so inclined yourself.
I hate to throw these away because they are so nice (in my humble opinion) so I figured someone on the board could use them. Here's the deal, the first person to send me their name and address and a promise to reimburse me for postage gets them free. Check my profile for my E-mail address. Good luck.

79-280ZX,
The problem is that these will not fit your car if your car is a 79280ZX. These are set up for the door on a 70-78 Z. Your door is flat where these speakers go and they simply will not fit. How about you get back to me and let me know what you want to do. I look forward to hearing from you.

Now that I look at the design more closely you are right, i thought they were the flat all the way, I guess I got a little excted, but at least I got a good idea about making my own, thanks. Hopefully someone else will use them.
