Q:

my 83t has an aftermarket plastic in between the rear brake/ running lights that says TURBO 280zx
it looks like the same plastic and color as the brake lights
so i was at the parts store and i saw..... 2 9in. neon like lights for $9.95
i want to put the lights in the holes in the back to light up the TURBO 280zx aftermarket plastic
so i can not figure out how i want to wire them
i can wire it as a 3rd. brake light or
i can wire it to come on when i turn on my headlights
what ya think
sorry for no picture but i just lost everything on my hard drive including my z picts
thanks

If your going to do that (and it's a big if), I would wire to the headlights.
Having it wired to the brakes would be ultra anoying (sp?) to anyone behind you.

Any would probably lead to someone smacking your rear end while focusing on the new light.

Z32 Had to sell for DD 06 Sentra :(
S30 one of these days I will get around to putting it all back together.

What colour are the lights?
I would hope red.

Those are the stock plastic peices I'm about %80 sure. One says 280ZX and the other says TURBO. Once is red and the other is yellow.

This "center filler" light is aftermarket. Mine had wiring and bulbs included to wire it into the parking/headlight circuit.
