Hella all the way... The set I've got on my NA are so damn bright, I could almost pop the t-tops and go deer hunting with them lol Not only does it light up my side of the road but both edges of the road including all on-coming lanes and a LONG way into the distance.

I'm mounting just a 2'nd set of round headlights in the grill of a 260z. It gives a nice retro look and, well, twice the light when needed.
Not sure if "fog lights" actually work so yea, a lot will depend on the the "look" you're after. Just buy something cheap since they will have to be mounted right above road level and will take a lot of gravel hits.

I have a set of Hella 550 lights that I'll be monting on my 260z next week. Test them out the other night... 300zxt is correct, deer hunting no question about. Very bright.

Do you even drive in the fog or are these just bling?
A:
Not all Hella 550's are fog lights.
What are you using the lights for?
Different beam patterns for different purposes.
A:
Mainly driving lights...and a little bit, I guess, of what 240Zcar refers too as "bling"...but I don't really see them as that. More of a functional aesthetic mod. They will function primarily for night driving down rural roads where there aren't many streetlights. I often drive home late from my fiancees house and she lives about 15 miles from me...50% of the trip is backroads and whatnot...just looking for a little more power than the normal lights...I know high beams are good but they offer more long-distance coverage. I am looking for something that illuminates better in the short-to-mid ranges.

A good driving light from a reputable manufacturer should do the trick.
Round is usually better than rectangular in actual light output, but for space/looks you may be limited on design.

Man, quit with the shameless self promotion! I wouldn't buy from you out of principle...
Moderators wtf?

h4lights seems to be answering the question effectively and objectively. I do not see him referencing his company nor doing anything that could be construed as a "self promotion". The link in his signature is acceptable as we do allow members to post links to their website, be they commercial or not, in their signatures.
The fact that he is a professional in an industry related to the topic does not necessarily preclude him from making comments.
A:
So I suppose the fact that he posted links to his own products not only a week ago doesnt count, and the fact that he doesn't post unless it benefits his own interests.
Open season on self promotion, kewl....
