Q:
I am having some trouble with my breaks locking up on all four wheels on my 78z. I have totally flushed out the system but the problem is still occurung to the front wheels. The system will reset it's self after I turn off the car and let it sit or a few minutes and after about five to ten miles it starts to lock up again. PLEASE HELP

Wow, those are some bad breaks.
Maybe the brake cylinders need service or the master needs replacing? Flushing will not help sticky cylinders or a sticky master.

almost everything is new except the booster which i am thinking that is the problem. it is the only part of the break system that has not been replaced
A:
Can be, I guess it could very well fail and not release till the vacuum is removed (engine off, system "resets").

If it's a new master then more than likely the rods that go between the pedal and master is too long. The brakes won't move back all the way to relieve pressure at the master.

This may sound wierd, but I have had that problem before and it turned out to be the rubber brake lines. I guess they were deteriorated on the inside and would let the fluid through one way, but not the other. After sitting they would bleed back off, but once you used the brakes again a few times they were locked up.
Just another something to look into.
Good Luck!!!

Another area to check is the brake proportioning valve.
Dont worry about the spelling, you got your question across.
Good luck. Rob

I concur with BURLEIGH above ^, it sounds like your brake hoses are probably bad.
