Q:

You know, I really hate the zilvia community. Some guy makes a post asking about info on an L28ET swap into an S13 and gets countless posts saying the L series is ****, go SR, KA-T, or Rb. Over and over... lousy elitest kids.
Don't worry, I gave him every link that I had from Pallnets swap, plus Blues 240sx tranny swap info. I think he should be fine now =)
A:

Most of them have probably never seen an L28 in person, let alone have any sort of experiance with one.

I'd be sure to point out the KA is just a more moderen version of the L-series. Would be funny to tick them off by wanting to put a turbo L18 in it or something.

Supposedly its for 240sx and Z cars, however I've barely seen anything about Zs on there, mostly just the 240sx

Well I guess their point would be, why put an old engine in a new car?

L-engine in a 240SX would hurt weight distribution. I'll go SR20DET or turbo the KA24DE when I put a few $$$ together for the SX. And I'm not a lousy elitist kid! More a deloused elitist middle-ager...
A:

Go an RB26DETT and call it a day ;)

Hell if nothing else, I prefer the howl of the L-series any damn day over some stupid blatty soundin' four banger! For that matter since I'm now on a rant, my previous L-18 even sounded better than the crap out on the road today and it had the 38mm SUs and 2 1/4" exhaust that had a Pacesetter muffler on it.
Stepping off soapbox now.

I love the L-series engine but I wouldn't put one in an S13 or 14.
Besides....CA18DET > SR20DET
It always puzzles me why there is almost no mention of the CA when it comes to swaps like that.
God must love stupid people, he made SOOOOO many of them!
A:

They have a CA-18 FAQ over there, but it seems very few people go with the CA. But yea, I know Pallnet has done the swap, I've spoken to him about it, cuz I wanna do it eventually.
I gave that guy every link I had to Pallnets documentation on posts here, Blues tech tips regarding the 240sx tranny, and what Pallnet said I'd need via e-mail, so he should be fine now =)
