So last night I went out with a couple of friends. My friend Eric picks me up in his car with another friend along & we go off down the street. About 10 blocks away we are stopped at a green light making a left waiting for traffic. I'm in the back seat with my head resting on the seat back. We are shooting the **** taking it easy, things seem casual & upbeat. BANG.....I feel a thud like a dead blow hammer hitting the back of my head & hear the sicking sound of car body parts crumpling. All of a sudden this blue dodge dakota passes us turns right down the street in the opposite direction we were heading. Ok the guy that just rear ended us is just pulling over to a safe place to exchange insurance information. NOPE...he turns his lights off & bolts. Eric gets on the throttle & starts chasing him down. As the dakota turns right onto a one way he side swipes another vehicle. Now there are 2 vehicles chasing this guy down. As we are doing this my other friend Aaron is calling 911 informing them of the situation. The dakota makes a left off the one way onto a short street that takes him to a one way going in the opposite direction. He then travels down the one way to a boulevard & makes a right & goes down the street with 2 cars pursuing him. The IDIOT then makes a right hander off the street into an alley thinking he's going to escape. WRONG......its a short dead end & now he's trapped by 2 cars behind him. So at this time my adrenaline is pumping & I want to jump out & start pounding. A slight pause of thought.....Oh **** what if these dudes are packing. I wait for moment & let them get out of the vehicle just so I know what we are dealing with. I get out appoach the driver who is accompaned by 2 friends. Young guys 19 - 24 yrs. I question him "So why did you run". As he is trying to explain his actions by some lame excuse it becomes apparent by the smell of his breath why he ran. So I told him the cops are on the way you can explain it to them. 10 minutes into the wait for cops his 2 buddies dissapear down the street. No problem they are not the driver no need for them to be here. 5 minutes later the driver is seen grabbing something from the dakota & bolts off down the street & dissapears down another alley (the one he should have driven down). We take off after him but we loose him. So what now. Well we have the vehicle, six eye witness & the police are on there way........3 hours later the police show up. Was a really busy night for them. During that time we witness another accident just up the street. A group of people running accross the street at the tail end of thier light get hit by a vehicle that appears to be running the light. SMACK.... 2 people down & seriously hurt. The ambulance, fire trucks, & 2 cruisers show up for that one 3 minutes flat. So while there are police officers around I inquire about our accident. So the duty supervisor who happens to be on the scene makes a call in pull a officer from another division to help as there are 3 major accidents, various major brawls & general shanigans in the area besides our accident. Back to our situation. We get a officer on the scene he takes statements & talks to Eric in the car fo a while. We get informed that the driver of the Dakota put in a stolen car call to 911 about 20 minutes after the accident from restaurant 2 blocks away. The police think along with us that this is highly supicious & just plain laughable. The police ran his vehicle plates. No insurance & suspended license. We were informed that a total of 7 charges will be levied against the driver. Amongst those hit & run 2 counts, dangerous driving, DUI, driving without insurance & driving while suspended. WTF was this idiot thinking.

You know what, the generalizations and stereotypes FIT, and are supported by FACTS.
Crime went WAY up in the relocation areas. EVERYWHERE THEY WENT, the crime rose.
None of the major cities where relocation took place had such a number that it would account for an "overload" of the support structure explaining such an inordinate spike in crime.
The obvious, and correct deduction was the people that came were criminals, and bent on criminality.
BECAUSE after the relocations, New Orleans went THREE MONTHS without a homicide. (Check out Pre-Katrina Stats, and see when the last time they went 90 days without a homicide in N.O.!!!!!!!)
You explain it any way you want, 72n03Zs, but any rational person can draw some pretty accurate stereotypes and generalizations from those figures.
And you know what, Norm's comment was funny!
If you can't handle that, and want to start a fight about scum living off the government and living a life of crime, do so elsewhere.

here in ottawa 3 homicides in 1 week and its not that big of a city most of the people I knew from other people thats homicide #15 for this year which is nothing to Toronto but still messed up one of the murders was a stabbing on a bus cause buddy didnt give the guy a stoke!

BTW, violent crime did spike after Katrina evacuees came here. About 18%. And the murder rate went up too. Most of it due to NO gangbangers. Good news: they're killing each other. Bad news: they're doing it too slow...

Stereotype or no stereotype the black community at large has to get their **** together. Even here in Toronto the vast majority of slainnings on the street are commited by gun toting, black hip hop listening, gang bangers between the age of 14 - 35.
Now to re-enforce another stereotype the young men in the Dakota appeared to be caucasian small town hicks (read "hillbilly", "white trash") from north of the city out to have a good time in the big smoke. Cruising around swilling beer inside their pick up truck. The only thing that was missing was the gun rack in the back window.
